LivNao is bridging the gap between precision medicine & preventive care to make better mental health easier & more accesible — Our patent-pending deep learning model leverages existing, passively collected sensor data from smartphones to detect changes in mental health with zero input required. Our technology helps deliver just-in-time interventions for users while anonymous & aggregated trends help organizations understand what moves the needle on population health.

The Role:

As a Graphic Design Intern at LivNao, you’ll take ownership of visual components in our product & marketing. You’ll be focused on creating visuals that help communicate LivNao’s core focus—making better mental health easier & more accessible for everyone.

About You:

  • You’re a fast thinker with an ability to adapt to new challenges like a pro
  • You have a portfolio that demonstrates your skills in Visual Design and Branding
  • You understand how UX research and strategy informs UI 
  • You’re comfortable working independently / remotely and don’t require a lot of guidance 
  • You’ve got your finger on the pulse about the latest design trends and innovations
  • Keen to learn and develop your design skills and understanding of brand strategy
  • You go the extra mile to deliver the best possible designs 


  • Skilled in the Adobe Suite (XD, Illustrator, PhotoShop) and other relevant visual design tools for illustrations, graphics, animations and image editing 
  • Knowledge and experience using UX design and prototyping tools e.g. Sketch, InVision, Principle
  • Fluent in translating research and user goals into bold and interesting visual design layouts that are pixel-perfect and polished 
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to work with people from a variety of different levels and disciplines 
  • Motivated by constructive feedback and the opportunity to improve and grow as a designer


  • Be registered in a post-secondary Design related programme—focus on Digital Design is a plus
  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Be legally able to work in Canada according to the laws and regulations of the province or territory where you live


  • Interest in mental health and productivity


  • Work 40hrs/week
